Custom Made Procedure

Once we have had an initial conversation regarding your wig or hairpiece and you would like to come for a Consultation, the appointment layout and procedure is as follows:

First Appointment

​

The First appointment is the Consultation, where we meet to discuss and establish what product will best meet your needs.. Whether that is a full wig, or, a partial wig or hairpiece to blend in with your natural existing hair.  It is as this appointment where we will go through:

  • The Foundation Base, Structure and Materials

  • The Hair, taking Hair Samples or Hair Swatch Samples for Colour

  • Hair Length and Texture

  • Hair Density of your Wig or Hairpiece

  • The Hair Shape and Style

  • Wig Attachment Fitting Method

  • Care and Maintenance in Brief

  • Taking A Head Wrap and Measurements for Accurate Fitting

The basis of the Consultation is to get to the heart of what you would like, and what will work best with your wig or hairpiece, so that you will be in receipt of a product that is Structurally sound, Aesthetically Beautiful and serves its Purpose in your life.  Enabling you to do the things you would like to do with Confidence.

The Consultation Fee is £250 and is redeemable against your wig or hairpiece should you wish to go ahead with the making process.

You will have been guided in our initial telephone conversation with what to bring to your consultation appointment so that we have everything we need from you for the appointment.​

This service is specifically designed to ensure you are in receipt of the best product through having the dedicated time to go through all the necessary information and details for your wig or hairpiece, before moving into the next stage.

​

It is from this first consultation appointment that the hair is ordered and the foundation is made, ready for your second appointment.

​

You will have the time you need after your consultation appointment to decide to move forward to the next stage, where you feel confident in moving forward to order your hair and begin the foundation making.

Second Appointment

​

It is at this appointment that we meet to fit your foundation, making sure it fits well and no adjustments are needed.  It is at this second appointment that we will check the hair that has been ordered together, and make sure you are happy with the hair and to go ahead with the next phase.

This appointment is a shorter appointment and will be for around an hour. This appointment is to check everything is as requested, and the foundation fits well.  If you are happy with the hair and foundation, the next stage is where the hair is knotted into the foundation.

Third Appointment

​

This is the final appointment, the actual wig fitting where your wig or hairpiece is fit, cut and styled.  This is a longer appointment around 3 to 4 hours.  During this appointment you will also have the opportunity to put on and take off your wig or hairpiece so you start to feel confident in handling it and know you can put it on ok.

​

We will go through the Care and Maintenance again in more detail and you will be given a Care sheet for your time at home living with your wig or hairpiece along with a few items for your wig kit.

​

I am always here to give support, and answer any questions along the way, and through your lifetime with your Wig or Hairpiece.

Your wig or hairpiece through it's life will require Care and Maintenance.
